About me
Short version: I’m a French-German crisis manager based in New York City who fell head over heels in love with emergency management.
Long version:
Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for The Resiliency Initiative, a crisis and risk mitigation consulting firm dedicated to empowering communities and organizations to become self-reliant.
Previously developed groundbreaking training, exercise, and preparedness programs serving The Walt Disney Company and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Guided by my quest for a more inclusive and innovative field of practice, founded the Emergency Management Growth Initiative (EMGI) in 2020 in an effort to make the emergency management profession both more visible and accessible.
Chairwoman of the Board for Project:Camp and previously served as an Inaugural Board Member for California Women in Homeland Security.
Graduated with a Master of Science in International Strategy and Diplomacy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE); a Certificate degree in Emergency Management & Homeland Security from UCLA Extension; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in North American Studies from the Freie Universität Berlin.
After growing up in Europe and spending 10 years in sunny Los Angeles, I relocated to Brooklyn, New York.
